Sell Your Car

At L of a Car we are always on the look out for fresh stock...

Unlike some of the National Car Buyers we look at your car as one that we are going to sell ourselves on our used car forecourt ensuring that you get the best possible price.

We buy any type, size or age of vehicle but due to our strict reconditioning program, we don't usually purchase cars under £1000 unless you are part exchanging for another one of our vehicles, but please check by calling us.

I live outside of Dorchester, will you buy my car?
Of course! If you live outside of the Dorchester area or cannot get to us then we are hapy to come to you. Call 01202 733500 for the Poole area or our partner sales site, Forza Cars on 01425 292646, if you are in the Christchurch/New Milton area.  

How Do You Pay Me?
Good Question. We can pay either by Business Cheque or via online back transfer, this can sometimes take 3-4 days depending on your type of account. If your Bank uses the 'Faster Payment' scheme then this will usually be in your account within 2 working hours. 
We do not pay with cash.

Is there a transaction fee for buying my car like on some of the National Car Buying Websites?
No, we do not add a fee for you selling your car to us!
National Car Buyers like webuyanycar.com, cazoo, carwow and cinch sometimes charge up to £74.99 for the "administration" of buying your car. We Do Not !  

How do I get home once I sell you my car?
At L of a Car, we are happy to give you a lift home if you do not have a friend or relative to help you. Please let us know prior to arriving if you need a lift home 

If you are looking for a fair price for your old or unwanted vehicle then please give us a call on either 01305 262265 or 01202 733500 where we will be happy to give you an idea of what it is worth.

Please remember that we do have to make money when we sell your car on so if you are looking to get "Parkers Retail" then you would be advised to pay to advertise and sell your car privately.
