Before you choose to hire or book the Segway please read the following carefully:
1. Full Training will be given by one of the Segway Team before you are allowed to participate
in any tour, event or party hire games.
2. Safety equipment including helmets must be worn at all time whilst on a Segway Tour.
3. Safety Vests are optional at events and corporate hire unless there is a significant reason
for them to be worn in conjunction with any regulations of that event or corporate venue.
4. Anyone found behaving dangerously or inappropriately at any event, private hire or on any
tour will be asked to dismount from the Segway and will not be able to continue with the
event. No Refund will be given
5. There are age and height restrictions for using the Segway. Anyone under the age of 12
will be asked to complete the training successfully before being allowed to participate in
any event or tour. If your child does not feel comfortable of if they are deemed by the
instructor not to be capable of controlling the Segway then a refund will be given but they
will not be able to continue with the event/tour.
6. You must be able to use stairs and be able to step up or down unaided.
7. Suitable clothing and secure footwear must be worn for the weather conditions. No flip
flops or high heal shoes please
8. L of a Segway and the instructors will not be held liable for any injury that may occur whilst
on a tour or at any private venue. Correct use of the device should result in a fun time had
by all.
9. Any purposeful damage caused to any Segway will result in a claim for the full repair costs.
10. If you are hiring a Segway for more than 24hrs a charge lead will be provided. The Charge
time is approximately 6 hours and secure storage will need to be arranged in a dry place.
The Segways are not to be left in the rain for a long length of time. Any damage caused by
negligence will result in a repair or replacement cost to you.
PAYMENT
A deposit of 20% will be taken at time of booking and the balance payable 48 hours prior to the day of your booking.
The only exclusion is for Tours. These are payable when you arrive at your destination.
We accept Cash, and most Credit or Debit Cards. We do not accept American Express.
CANCELLATION
A full refund will be given if we are given 7 or more days notice.
2-7 days notice and you deposit will be lost
less than 24 hrs, there will be no refund except in extreme circumstances.
If we have to cancel the hire then a full refund will be given at all times.
If we have to cancel your booking and you are happy to reschedule your hire then we will happily apply a 15% discount for your inconvenience.
SAFETY HELMETS
These are provided and must be worn at all times. We do allow you to bring your own helmet but this will need to be checked by a member of staff before it will be allowed to be used.
